Kottayam : UDF Chairman Saji Manjakadambil opens up to media on the alleged isolation of DCC President Natakam Suresh. Two days after Opposition Leader VD Satheesan returned from a visit to Kottayam, a Congress worker shouted obscenities on phone, Saji told reporters, facing his mobile toward them to show the caller’s number and name, K Hari.
K. Hari is Natakam Suresh’s driver, the reporters told Saji. However, without acknowledging the mention, Saji went on to say that he lodged a complaint in the regard with KPCC president K. Sudhakaran. The Congress worker also made death threat the reason why I put up a complaint with the KPCC leadership, Saiji told reporters.
Context : The friction has its origin at an anti-K-Rail protest organised by the UDF. The flex for the occasion came printed with DCC president’s picture missing on it, opening what is now to and fro exchanges between Natakam Suresh and Saji.
