Mavelikkara : Local MLA proves saviour to man who lay on road bleeding from accident injuries. The incident took place 10.30 pm Sunday night. The victim Kottayam native Baiju(46) works for a decoration firm and was riding back home after finishing off marriage decorations at Prethees Convention Centre, when he got dizzy and fell with his bike between Irvankara and Kochalumoodu Mavelikkara – Pandalam road
Baiju lay bleeding at the spot for a long time until MLA MS Arun Kumar drove by in his car around 10.30 pm. The MLA stopped and rushed Baiju to the District Hospital where, after preliminary treatment, the MLA summoned an ambulance and had him transported to Kottayam Medical College.
The DYFI Block Treasurer Sen Soman too was with the MLA at the time. The MLA was returning from visit to his wife Suja’s home in Kunnampara when he spotted Baiju lying injured.
