Kochi : Fake antique dealer Monson Mavunkal was found guilty of sexually abusing his maid’s minor daughter. The ruling came from Ernakulam District POCSO Court in Kochi.
The case surrounds incident that took place in 2019. The case was registered by Ernakulam North police after the minor girl lodged complaint. Monson raped the 17-year-old multiple times at his house in Kaloor promising to fund her higher education. The victim was also molested in another house
The girl’s mother approached the City Police after Monson’s fake antique scam broke. Until then, they afraid to come out with accusation, she had said.
