Thiruvananthapuram Mullappally Ramachandran is on his way out as president of KPCC. According to emerging reports, Working President K Sudhakaran’s prolonged efforts for the post might have just borne fruits.
Both Oomen Chandy and Chennithala reportedly voiced demands to move Mullappally from his presidency.
Mullappally’s disagreement over ties with Welfare party for local body elections is believed to have been his undoing. League had conveyed to AICC leadership, the party’s discontent over Mullappally’s stand on the matter. AICC is expected to name Mullappally's successor over the course of next two days.
