Kochi : The High Court on Monday ruled in favor of actor Dileep’s anticipatory bail plea in the murder-conspiracy case against him. The bail however comes with strict conditions allowing prosecution to approach the court for arrest proceedings in the event of the actor not cooperating with the investigation or attempting to influence witnesses.
The ruling was handed by Justice P Gopinath and lends similar relief in the case for Dileep’s brother Anoop and brother-in-law Suraj.
Context : Dileep is accused of conspiring to murder lead investigator in the actress assault case of 2017 that indicts him of hiring a gang to molest a popular actoress, the visuals of which were captured on mobile by the prime accused Pulsar Suni.
