Malappuram : A panchayat member of Muslim League was arrested by police in Malappuram for sexually harassing a woman during bus journey. Arrested is: member of Ward-14 in Thrikalangad panchayat, Poyil Vidyadharan(34) - a Alungal native from Elakur.
The incident took place at Kottapadi. When harassed physically, the woman raised alarm and people around nabbed Vidyadharan and handed him to police. The victim later lodged her complaint with the police station.
