THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Employees at Muthoot are observing peaceful protest and it is not their way to launch attacks, said Minister for Labour TP Ramachandran.
The ongoing second strike was triggered by the company dismissing a competent employee, merely because he organized a strike. The management without entering into talks, raised uncalled provocation, the minister said.
The management and employees should move along cordial terms. In Kerala , the relationship between employer and employees has stands strengthened, Ramachandran said.
The govt intervened in the Muthoot issue, to help resolve the situation, an act praised by the High Court. The employees have to protect their rights, the minister said adding that, the state now has a investor friendly climate.
