NEW DELHI : MLAs would make appropriate interventions to ensure thorough probe into deaths and adequate compensations for kins of the two families, who died in Nepal’s Daman resort, reportedly from inhaling toxic fumes from the room’s heater, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Friday.
The statement came after CM held a meeting of legislators in the capital on Friday. The Nepal govt should carry out in-depth investigations into the deaths, he told the meeting, adding that, the Centre should take steps to ensure this.
The govt has sent Centre a letter urging to move matters; a second letter shall be send soon, said the minister.
