Kerala Bank Decides Full Loan Waiver For Landslide Victims Of Chooramala

Mepadi : Taking into account the devastation brought down by historic landslides that struck on 30 July, the Kerala Bank decided to write off entire loans at Chooramala Branch for natives who might have died or lost their mortgaged properties in the disaster. The decision came about at the bank’s Board meeting held today, Monday.

Kerala Bank earlier contributed Rs 50 lakh to Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund(CMDRF). The employees at the bank too volunteered to donate five day’s salary to CMDRF.
