Thiruvananthapuram : The media is of double standards in terms of targeting SFI leaders, said SFI State Secretary PM Arsho. With regard to Nikhil Thomas in Alappuzha, the media reported his degree certificate as fake. What basis is such news founded on ? Nikhil laid out all his certificates. Could any one spot a single non-genuine one ? Up on examinations, none of them were fabricated. Nikhil had passed in all those after writing exams. All his credentials are legitimate, said Arsho. Why should there be a case initiated against Nikhil. Let those who allege file a complaint, Arsho added.
For two days now, the media news states it as fake degree certificate. What kind of freedom of press is that? The MSF and KSU complaints were filed following news broadcast by the media. That’s not all that must be investigated. The media is not keen on Alappuzha KSU Convener’s fake certificate and Calicut MSF fraud
The MSF candidate who contested to be Senate member was not a regular student. We lodged complaint in this regard. The media is however is not interested in the story, only the police is, said Arsho.
While everyone has seen the KSU leader’s fake certificate. Neither you nor I have seen Nikhil Thomas’s documents. Yet the zeal about it knows no bounds. Theirs is nothing in wrong in media reporting news, however, they should not claim to be impartial, said Arsho.
