Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan directed Chief Secretary to withdraw instruction that appears to suggest that the scientific and technical experts must refrain from visiting disaster-hit areas and making comments thereof.
The directive issued by the State Disaster Management Authority to science and technology establishments asking not to visit or make comments on Mepadi tends to mislead; the government has no such policy, clarified CM in a press release on Thursday.
