No Lockdown For Kerala ; Only Essential Services For Two Sundays Next

Thiruvananthapuram : Owing to  worsened Covid scenario, only essential services shall be allowed on two coming Sundays. The decision was made at Covid Assessment  meeting presided by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Children below age 2, mothers working in private/govt establishments, cancer patients shall be allowed free home. Doctor’s certificate is essential for this. Rs 22 crore has been allowed from Disaster Relief Fund for fight the surge.

No Crowding.
Concerned persons must ensure there is no crowding at businesses, malls, beaches, theme parks, tourism etc and that appropriate Covid  protocols are followed. Sanitisers must be made available in good proximity. Members of a family can eat sitting together at restaurants.

Strict Curbs Based On Admissions
Curb levels shall be imposed nased on hospital admissions in each district. The health Department will supply related data to District Disaster Mgt Authority for the purpose. The Disaster Mgt Authority will in turn issue A, B, C category for each district.

Current general restrictions will apply to districts not falling in the A, B an C category as well.
