Thiruvananthapuram : The SRIT company, mentioned in context of installation project of AI Cameras , is in no way connected with Uralungal Labour Contract Co-op Society(ULCCS), the Society clarified. Also, the names circulating on social media in connection AI camera project and SRIT, are not Directors of Uralungal either, the Society added.
SRIT is a private company based in Bengaluru. In the year 2016 it handed a software development project for hospital to Uralungal. Both establishments formed a join venture entity by the name ULCCS – SRIT exclusively for the project. The Directors of both establishment were members of this joint entity. Eventually, the project was completed in 2018 and the entity dissolved, meaning ULCCS0SRI was no longer in existence.
However, some websites like zaubacorp.com, that gives out information on companies, still has ULCCS SRIT Private Limited still on its list. That’s owing to non-updation of the website. Even so, several who browse such non-updated sites, are misled into thinking ULCCS -SRIT still exists.
Manorama earlier reported that SRIT itself clarified the disconnect and stand-alone statuses of the two, In its statement, Uralungal said ULCCS in not in any way connected with SRIT or the AI camera installation project. Given that, all false allegations in this regard should be withdrawn. All media that printed or aired the allegations should follow it up with a correction. All such references should be withdrawn, including those online, read the statement.
