KOCHI : Hinting to take cue of protest suppressions across the country, the former Rajya Sabha member P Rajeev said, this is time to reach truths to the people. The CPI(M) leader was speaking at Aksharamuttam – A Mega Quiz Event, organized by Deshabhimani in Kochi.
The media, with its criticisms and disagreement on the overhanging crisis, has gained acceptance among masses. Deshabhimani newspaper is one among those seeking to preserve the country’s secularism, said Rajeev who is also the Daily’s Chief Editor.
Democracy faces a greater challenge than all times in the past. And Aksharamuttam Mega Event is designed to impart insights, so each participant inspires others to see facts in that direction, the Left veteran added.
