Kollam : At a press conference called at KMML Guest House in Chavara, KV Thomas told reporters there would be no removal of his membership from either AICC or KPCC. Both these positions were accomplished through election, he said. Congress’s stand on his cae became clear in a recent letter from Tariq Anwar, the AICC General Secretary in charge of Kerala, said Thomas.
The removal has been from nominated positions only namely, from KPCC’s Political Affairs and the Working Committee. Thomas said he was open minded and at no time stayed his doors shut. In Thrikkakara, I am on side with development politics, said Thomas.
Asked if he would participate in poll campaign, Thomas said he was undecided. Let’s see if they call me; they have not asked me so far; typically they have never called me in the past, said Thomas.
Don’t blindly oppose K-Rail. I have always stood for developmental projects. That does not mean I blindly accept it all and sundry. I point out flaws. My approach is one of open-mindedness, said KV Thomas.
