Thiruvananthapuram : One more person has been diagnosed with Zika infection in the state, said Health Minister Veena George on Saturday. The virus was detected in sample collected from 40-year-old woman in Nanthancode and tested in NIV, Alappuzha.
The first batch of 17 samples tested negative following which, another 27 were sent to the lab - one from which turned up positive for Zika. With this the total for Zika infections in state rose to 15.
