Thiruvananthapuram : Following recommendations from this year’s ONV Literary Award Evaluation Committee , the decision on this year’s award shall be reviewed, said ONV Cultural Academy President Adoor Gopalakrishnan.
The award this year was announced for Tamil poet and lyricist Vairamuthu. However there are sexual allegations against the poet from several women owing to which the committee asked the academy to reconsider its selection.
The award instituted in the memory of the legendary poet ONV Kurup.
