New Delhi : Congress leader Oomen Chandy informed Sonia Gandhi of his discontent with KPCC re-organisation and is expected to see the High Command some time on Wednesday. At the meeting, Oomen Chandy will ask to suspend further rehaul of the DCCs. Both A and I group are of the opinion that with organisational elections announced, there should occur no further shuffling.
Earlier in his report, Tariq Anwar – the AICC General Secretary in charge of Kerala – indicated Oomen Chandy’s discontent with the party rehaul in state. Although the A and I group expressed opposition to further re-organisation in the face impending elections, KPCC had dismissed that view, triggering the two former rivals - Oomen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala – into their first open resentment with K Sudhakaran and VD Satheesan’s style of functioning, after announcement of internal elections..
