Kottayam Former Chief Minister Oomen Chandy will soon fly to Germany for medical treatment. The Congress veteran is ailing with throat-related issues and had been recently discharged from Rajgiri hospital in Aluva. Oomen Chandy is currently lodged at Guest House in Aluva.
It was originally planned for Chandy to return to his native home in Puthpally on Monday. However with conditions deteriorating, it was decided to avail medical attention in Germany.
