Hyderabad : Lookout notice has been issued against BDS leader and Kerala NDA Convener Thushar Vellapally for attempting to topple the Telangana government. He allegedly placed massive sums in offers to buy sitting MLAs as part of “Operation Lotus.” designed to snatch legislators from incumbent governments in non-BJP states.
Lookouts have been also issued for BJP joint national secretary BL Santhosh, and Jaggu Swami in Telanagana.
Recently there surfaced audio clips of Thushar Vellapally conversing with MLAs of Telangana Rashtra Samiti(RS). In the recording, Thushar is heard telling the MLAs he would arrange personal meeting with BJP national joint General Secretary BL Santhosh.
At a press conference held recently, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had said Union Minister Amit Shah’s nominee Thushar Vellapally had offered Rs 100 crore to MLAs each for crossing over.
The leaked clip also speaks about how agents successfully dislodged incumbent governments in eight non-BJP states. The recording also delves detailedly on how the toppling strategies are laid out. The speakers in the clip claim Telangana, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan are currently on hit-list.
Rao said it is the same group that carried out coups in all states and further that, the agent network was helmed by Thushar Vellapally.
