Thiruvananthapuram : The Aruvipuram station issued Orange alert as reservoir at Neyyar dam exceeded danger level. Yellow Alert has been announced in Vellakadav for Karamana river in Thiruvananthapuram too. Thumbanam station on Achankovil river in Pathanamthitta and Kallupara station at Manimala river there too have issued Yellow Alert in the region. Authorities cautioned coastal residents to exercise caution.
