NEW DELHI: We shall wait to see how state Congress reacts to Sonia Gandhi’s scathing attack over misuse of central agencies, said CPI(M) State Secretariat member P. Rajeev.
Sonia had hit out saying, all government machinery is being mobilised to subdue opposition. Agencies from Enforcement to CBI and NIA to even Narcotics Bureau, were dancing to the tune of PM’s and Union Home Minister’s offices for the purpose, Sonia had said.
MP Rahul Gandhi, who arrived in Kerala last week, made similar criticisms on the centre and its agencies. However, state leaders including Ramesh Chennithala, had dismissed the central leadership perspective and expressed support for CBI maneuvers instead.
