Vadakancherry : A 58-year old man hacked his son to death in Palakkada’s Paruvasheri in Kannambra. According to father Mathai, Basil(36) consumed drinks daily and fought noisily at home. Fed up with the ordeal, he killed Basil in a rage, Mathai said.
The incident took place at 10 pm last night.
Early this morning, Mathai narrated night's events to a friend, who came over to the scene. The man, on finding Basil lie in a pool of blood, summoned the police.
Basil worked in Israel as nurse and returned home over an year now.
