Man Collapses To Death At Bus Stand Amid KSRTC Flash Strike : T'Puram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : A 64-year-old man collapsed to death on Wednesday amid flash strike called by KSRTC. The deceased has been identified as Surendran (64) from Kadakampally.

The elderly man was waiting to board bus at KSRTC stand in East Fort, when he suddenly fell to the floor. First aid was administered on the spot and a police ambulance rushed him to General hospital, where he died shortly after.

Surendran suffered from heart ailment and was largely on rest since two years. The Human Rights Commission has taken suo motu cognizance of the incident.
