Shornur : A passenger in Madhusgar Express was stabbed when train reached Shornur. The victim was identified as Parapanangadi native Devadas and the stabber, Guruvayur native Aziz. When the train stopped at its scheduled halt at the station , Aziz got down from the train, picked up a bottle from around. He then broke it hitting on the ground and climbed back into the train and struck Devadas on his face, inflicting stab into his eye.
According to other passengers, the two men got into a brief argument before the accused turned violent. Police are questioning the accused to determine if there is a prior backdrop they shared.
