Thrissur : A hospital-bound ambulance in Chalakkudi skid over to its side killing the patient inside. The accident occurred while rushing a patient under cardiac arrest to the hospital.
The deceased was identified as Mala Kazhoor native Johnson aged 50. The vehicle lost control at a spot where road works were in progress. Three persons accompanying the patient sustained minor injuries.
