Kochi: Fuel prices have been hiked once again with an increase of 26 paise on petrol and 7 paise on diesel per litre. In Thiruvananthapuram’s Parshala petrol climbed to Rs 100.04 per litre. Petrol price has shot up from Rs 90 to Rs 100 in past 132 days.
With hike announced Thursday, petrol in Thiruvananthapuram costs Rs 99.80 and diesel Rs 95.62 per litre. The respective prices in Kochi are Rs 97.86 and diesel Rs 94.79 per litre.
Prices for regular petrol(not premium) elsewhere in the country crossed Rs 100 including states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. This is the 13th hike to happen in just 22 days now sending fuel prices countrywide to their record
