PF- Pension Case : Judgment By 8 Nov

New Delhi  : The Supreme Court Bench headed by Chief Justice UU Lalit made known the judgment toward allowing PF/pension in proportion to higher scale salaries, will be delivered latest by 8th November - the day the top judge is due to retire.

Being challenged in the case are verdicts from Kerala High Court and other states that favours the proportionate theory for PF and pension. The appeal to disallow that comes from Provident Fund Organisation and the Union Labour Ministry.   The apex bench comprises , apart from CJ, justices Sudhashu Dhulia and  Anirudh Bose.

Cibtext: The Kerala High Court and counterparts in Rajasthan and Delhi set aside the Employee’s Pension(Amendment) Scheme of 2014, thereby allowing pension in proportion to salary above threshold of Rs 15,000 per month. The Kerala High Court also held there can be no cut-off date for joining the pension scheme.
