Pinarayi Reaches Secretariat, Takes Charge As Chief Minister

Thiruvananthapuram: Rewriting history for an all-new Kerala, the Pinarayi Vijayan government assumed power after  oath-ceremony today. Post the ceremony amd  after a brief halt at Raj Bhavan for tea treat, Pinarayi Vijayan reached the Secretariat and took charge as Chief Minister of Kerala.  The Chief Minister’s office is  located  on the 3rd storey of North Block at Secretariat. The 2nd Pinarayi government was sworn in at Central Stadium at 3.30pm Thursday.

The 21-member cabinet comprises ministers Roshy Augustine, K Krishnankutty, AK Saseendran, Ahmed Devarkovil, Antony Raju, V Abdurehman, G R Anil, KN Balagopal, R Bindu, J Chinchu Rani, MV Govindan, PA Muhammad Riaz, P Prasad, K Radhakrishnan, P Rajeev, Saji Cherian, V Sivankutty, VN Vasavan and Veena George.MB Rajesh is the Speaker. Chitayam Gopakumar is the Deputy Speaker. Dr. N Jayaraj is the Chief Whip.
