Thiruvananthapuram ; Plus two exams in the state have ended. Practicals are slated from 3rd May. However, the day being a public holiday, the exams will begin the day after. Schools may decide on the timetable in this regard. Only that, there should be only a maximum of 20 students inside the lab at any given time.
Paper evaluation for higher secondary exams will begin on Thursday across 80 centres in the state. 20,000 teachers will be engaged to appraise roughly 30 lakh answer papers. Thee will be no evaluations on the day of practical exams. Results are expected to be given out by mid June.
Focus area had been expanded by 10 percent with 30 percent of the paper comprising questions picked across entire syllabus. Although UDF launched protest against this, it was largely a failure.
SSLC exams will end on Friday after which paper evaluations will be done across 70 centres from the 12th . 4,27,000 papers shall be examined. Results once again are expected to be out by mid June.
