Coimbatore : Police nabs the man who uploaded fake video with lewd contents on Dr. Jo Joseph, with aim to tarnish his image during poll time. Arrested is : League worker Latif, a Kottakal Inthiyanoor native, who actively works to make social media pitches for the Muslim League.
Thrikkakara police arrested Latif in Coimbatore Tuesday morning. He will be brought to Kochi by afternoon.
Latif posted the sleaze video on fake accounts he created on Twitter and several Congress leaders shared the video widely on social media to heighten tarnishing of the LDF candidate. The Opposition leader VD Satheesan backed that endeavour. Anyone getting hold of such video is bound to share it, he had said.
Incidentally, several sharers , including Congress mandalam president, are in remand following arrest.
