Ambalapuzha :Police jeep crashes into scooter killing a youth in Ambalapuha and grievously injuring another. The deceased has been identified as Manjesh (35) resident of Pazha Cjora Vdeed in 17th ward of Purakkad Panchayat . The accident occurred around 10.45 pm Tuesday night near the Karuwata cattle bridge on National Highway.
Manjesh was riding to Karuvata along with his neighbor Vishnu (34) when Mararikulam police jeep coming from the opposite direction hit the scooter. Manjesh was rushed to Vandanam Medical College Hospital but could not be saved. Vishnu, who has critical injuries to his hip bone, has been shifted to private hospital in Ernakulam.
Manje’s body was released to the family after postmortem. Father: Maniyan, Mother: Ramani. Wife: Vijisha. Son: Anurag.
