Police Team Attacked in Kochi; Dancer and Editor Land in Lockup

Kochi : A dancer and editor who viral on social media were arrested for violence they perpetrated against police officials in Kochi. Arrested in the case are Thrissur native Anoop and Palakkad native Rahul Raj. Anoop became popular on social media with his drunk-dance version of the song “Ra Ra Rasputin” .

The incident in context took place in dawn hours of Tuesday around 2 am. The duo, part of a 5-member gang, attacked Ernakulam North CI while out on routine patrolling. The remaining three escaped without being caught and police have stepped up their hunt the absconding trio.
