Kozhikode : Police’s probe and testing of equipments following mike-malfunction at Oomen Chandy’s commemoration event, was merely as per the VIP security rules, said LDF Convener EP Jayarajan.
The police is responsible for security at events attended by the Chief Minister and other ministers. Some leaders attempt to taint Oomen Chandy, a fallout of inside groupism. They are trying to destroy the acceptance and respect Oomen Chandy enjoyed, said EP Jayarajan.
The mic was tested as per safety rules. The Electrical Inspectorate has to examine and submit report. Some are trying to narrate it in perverse ways. The Chief Minister himself instructed there be no further action pursued, said EP.
