Kasaragod : K Surendran in his complaint to Election Commission warned of law and order problems on polling day if issues including duplicate voter entries were not sorted out in time. Indifference on this count could mean untoward incidents at booths, he said.
In the letter, Surendran demanded deployment of central security forces at trouble-prone booths and camera facilities in premises. UDF has double standards on the issue of vote duplication and is silent on fraudulent votes in Kasaragod and Manjeswaram constituencies, The two constituencies have over 300 fake votes, he said.
Suresh Gopi’s twin statement at public gathering that Shamseer should be defeated in Thalassery and UDF should win Guruvayur, are purely his personal opinion and largely ignorable, said Surendran, adding that BJP will field its candidate at Thalassery.
Surendran declined to comment on query of his graduate degree. He was speaking at an election campaign event at press club in Kasaragod.
