Coimbatore : Police on Sunday nabbed the second accused in the Pothencode murder of Sudeesh. The culprit, Ottakam Rajesh, was on the run and was nabbed from from Coimbatore. Sudeesh(Unni) and Muttai Syam are the first and second accused respectively and are in remand.
The Murder
The murder was reported perpetrated from gang rivalry. On 11th of last month, the accused trio hacked Sudheesh to death in Pananvilla colony of Pothencode’s Kaloor. After the kill, culprits rode away on bike flaunting Sudeesh’s severed leg. The visuals of this graphic scene viralled on social media in which first accused Sudeesh(Unni) is seen holding up the deceased’s severed leg high up in a trophy-like style.
