THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : In an amusing episode Saturday morning, the Indian National Congress flag refused to unfurl at KPCC headquarters, causing annoyance among senior leaders who had gathered to celebrate the party’s founding day. Leaders present at the function included KPCC President Mullapally Ramachandran, Rajmohan Unnithan and MP Unnikrishnan among others.
The party’s Seva Dal had carried out flag hoisting preparations. The Congress veteran were visibly irked as the small crowd, including media witnessed flag refusing to budge, on being stuck in the pull-up rope. Unable to make headway, the seniors turned their on waiting Seva Dal workers, before making their way into the office.
