No Answers From Rahul To Political Questions; Accusations Come From A Leader Unable To Prevent Puthucherry Fiasco: A. Vijayaraghavan

Palakkad  :Rahul Gandhi is up with accusations without answering political questions put to him, said CPI(M) acting state secretary A. Vijayaraghavan.  He was speaking in Palakkad at a press meet as part of northern chapter of Munnetta Vikasana Yathra.

Congressmen in Kerala are individuals who seek Modi’s assistance  to defeat LDF. A leader, who is an absolute failure, is now out with criticism for the state government. Rahul Gandhi keeps the BJP-Congress nexus under wraps. Neither Rahul nor any other Congress leader responds to the question if the party indeed has ties with Jamaat-e-Islami.

People do not wish a repeat of corruptions that played out under UDF rule. And, public sentiment cannot be changed by chunking out  false accusations. People here will reject claims propagated by Rahul.

The controversy spinning around deep-sea fishing is an unnecessary one. An official signed a MoU. Later, upon assessing viability, he also  placed his signature on an Agreement. The government then examined the documents and found mismatches to its own policy and that with law. The government did took no step in that direction, so why the criticism?,  asked Vijayaraghavan.

The Left front remains completely unified. All of LDF’s seats are sitting seats. However, newcomers will also be accommodated. There is a view to withhold seats from persons who have been incumbent for a very long period though. The party stand is,  there is no need for a person to contest in just one particular constituency until death removes him.  Then,  there is this other tradition. A father dies handing the seat to son who will carry the post till he hits century.  LDF does not wish to adopt that line.

There is no need to hold talks with the Opposition leader.  The Opposition leader  stands defeated by all who held discussions with Congress, said Vijayaraghavan in response to reporters’ queries at the meet.
