Alappuzha : Police took into custody four SDPI workers on suspicions of involvement in the murder of BJP Morcha leader, Ranjith Sreenivasan. A bike found abandoned in Ponadu area is believed to have been used by these men for the crime.
The bike was found parked on a field in front of a house in Ponaad.
The SDPI arrests comes a day after two RSS functionaries were arrested for murder of SDPI state secretary KS Shan in Alappuzha, a retaliation to which is believed to have been the killing of Ranjith barely 12 hours later on Sunday morning.
