Rape Accusation Against Director Balachandra Kumar Fake, Says Police

Kochi : Seeking closure to the case against Balachandra Kumar, the police informed Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate court that, the allegation of rape against the director is a fabricated one.

Balachandra Kumar recently came under spotlight after making incriminating revelations against actress assault case of 2017 against actor Dileep.

In the current case, a woman from Kannur alleged she was sexually assaulted by Balachandra Kumar in his Kochi home in 2010. There is no evidence of such occurrence; the allegation seems to be part of a deeper conspiracy, the police told the court.
