Rs 2000 cr To Curb Inflation; Kerala Model Designed To Counter Centre-Policy; Read Budget Highlights Here

Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala has started to recoup from depthd of crisis; Rs 2000 crores has been set aside to curb inflation and toward food safety, said Finance Minister KN Balagopal Friday morning, presenting State Budget for 2022 – 23 in the Assembly. The Kerala model aims to counter the Centre’s detrimental policies, said FM reading  from a tab, the state’s full-fledged  Budget, that came wholly  paperless this time. Speaker MB Rajesh congratulated the tab-oriented  Budget delivery.

Kerala accomplishments in recent years earned wide appreciation at national and international level. Kerala is country’s  chart-topper for good governance.  State recorded a 14.5 growth in GST revenue in during this  fiscal year. World peace is faced with an extreme form of challenge. Rs 2 crores shall be set aside toward global peace Conferences  shall be convened towards world peace.

Comprehensive innovations shall be effected in the realm of  higher education. Rs 200 crores shall be set aside for various universities. To be constructed are : 1500 new hostel rooms and 250  foreign student accommodations.  150 students to be awarded Nava Kerala fellowships.
