Thrissur : CPI(M) Thrissur District Secretary MM Varghese said it is RSS agenda that's behind the arrest of CPI(M) leader and Vadakanchery Municipal Councilor PR Aravindakshan. The ongoing attempt is to destroy the Left forces and cooperative sector in Kerala. ED has acted vindictively and the arrest shall be protested for, by mobilising public, the District Secretary said.
Context : ED is investigating the Kannavannur bank scam and had arrested their first accused Satish based on statements and evidences that Aravindakshan had provided them. Aravindakshan recently filed complaint with Ernakulam Central Police over ED using torture techniques during interrogation to coerce him.
