Kathiroor, KANNUR : An RSS man arrested for hurling bomb at Police Picket Post on Ponnyam Nayanar Road in Kahiroor sheds light on the motive that unclear up until now. The accused has been identified as Prabeshan, resident at Palaparambathu Veedu, in Kadakkal.
On the morning of January 16th , a steel bomb exploded on Ponnyam Nayanar Road, The explosion was assumed to be an attack on the olice picketing post located there. However, Prabeshan has now confessed that detonating the bomb was meant to shakeup Manoj Seva Kendra, also located nearby on the Nayanar Road. It was meant to create clashes in the locality, he said.
Prabeshan has over 10 cases pending against him and remains in custody. The policemen who rounded up the RSS worker include CPOs Roshit and Rijesh.
