Thiruvananthapuram : The High Court called for details on devotee petitioners' claim that RSS was encroaching Sarkaradevi Temple space to conduct weapons training. The petition was filed by G Vyaan and KV Vijaykumar - both of who are temple devotees. RSS’s training is posing hardships to residents in the neighborhood as well as to devotees visiting the temple, the petition read.
The Court sought facts at length from the State government, Travancore Devaswom Board, Devaswom Commissioner, Sarkaradevi Temple Administrative Officer and Chirakankeezh Circle Inspector. A Bench comprising Justice Anil K Narendran and Justice PG Ajith heard the petition.
