Thiruvananthapuram : The government lend principle nod for a green field airport at Sabarimala – a project meant for augmenting pilgrimage facility, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the Assembly on Friday, adding that, Kerala State Infrastructure Development Corporation(KSIDC) has been entrusted with with conducting feasibility studies for the project. The government plans to include Sabarimala Airport into its priority project list and complete constructions within set timeframe, said CM.
Appointed as Special Officer for the Sabarimala Airport Project is former Tripura Chief Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of Kannur International Airport, V Thulaseedharan, said CM responding to a query calling attention from Dr. N. Jayaraj.
