Pathanamthitta : The customary Pampa-Sannidharan route will be laid open for Sabarimal pilgrims Sunday and Pampa bath allowed from 11 on Saturday. The decision came about at meeting convened by the district's Disaster Management in Collectorate earlier today. Bath at Pampa will be restricted to 150 meter from Triveni pedestrian bridge to 170 meters downstream. Police, fire force and other rescue agencies are positioned at the shrine hillock for overseeing safety of devotees, said Collector Jivya SR.
Pampa Sannidhanam route runs via neelimala, Appachimedu and Marakoottam. Primary healthcare facilities are set up at neelimala and Appachimedu. Overnight stay facilities have been arranged for at Sannidhanam.
