Thiruvananthapuram : The govt has approved road and bridge construction projects worth Rs 136.73, Minister PA Mohammed announced Saturday. Funds for the infrastructure developments were assigned by including them in NABARD projects. Rs 114 crores has been sanctioned for 18 roads and Rs 22.73 crores for two bridges.
The projects gained sanction after the plans submitted by the Public Works Dept(PWD) passed scrutiny. The projects up on receiving administrative sanction, shall be completed in time-bound manner, the minister said, adding that, arrangements will be made such that the technical approval and tender procedures phases happen in time
