Sangh Parivar unleashes a whole lot of attacks against various aspects relating to the Christianity. They burnt effigy in Andhra Pradesh shouting slogans “Santa Claus murdabad”. In Varanasi, they attacked Christmas celebrations organised at a hospital. In Haryana, they destroyed a sculpture of Jesus belonging to British era. In Kurukshetra Sangh Parivar workers stormed into a Church shouting “Jai Sree Ram” ridiculing Christmas celebrations being held there. In Assam, Bajarang Dal launched attacks saying there is no need to conduct Christmas celebrations that has Hindus participating.
Attacks are perpetrated all over, claiming there were conversions taking place. After 72 years of independence, Christian community forms just 2.3 of the country’s population. If there are conversions like the kind Sangh Parivar claims, that number would have been far higher.
In 2015 there were 142 instances of violence reported against Christians. The figure rose to 226 in 2016, 248 in 2017, 298 in 2018, 321 in 2019, 217 in 2020 and 478 in 2021. Most attacks in 2021 were reported from Uttar Pradesh.
Sangh Parivar is professing their self-styled love of Christianity here. This is a land of secularism. Kerala has strong defense mechanism against attacks perpetrated in other places, a reason why Sangh Parivar is resorting to feigning Christian love hoping to gain some foothold.
All provisions of the Constitution are being destroyed one by one. It is a literal play out of all that CPI(M) had warned beforehand. Corporates lend backing to all of BJP policies. Corporates control majority of media houses in the country.
Some are attempting to tie Islamic terrorism to people of the Muslim community. In fact, it is mostly members of the Muslim community that become victim to Islamic terrorism. In all places that U.S. carried out political interventions, it invariable left a trail of genocide and religious fanaticism.
Capitalism is confronting huge crisis across the globe. And although there arose agitation against it through Arab Spring, matters went back to the old order. That happened owing to lack of alternative perspective to fix the problem. To overturn capitalism and replace it with meaningful system, it is essential to have organised structure that will establish the right alternative system. It is the wrong perspectives pursued by capitalist countries that’s heading the world into crisis, said CM.
