New Delhi : The Supreme Court on Saturday ordered to submit status report on investigations into all encounter deaths that took place during the Yogi Adityanath regime. The apex court must be supplied with investigation statuses on all 183 killings that took place in the past six years.
The order wasissued by Bench comprising Justices S Ravindra Bhat and Arvind Kumar. The Bench said it would lay out general guidelines for investigation into encounter deaths similar to the one prepared by the National Human Rights Commission.
