School Re-opening Virtual Festival on 1 June ; Classes Online : Minister V Sivankutty

Thiruvananthapuram : Preparations are complete toward reopening schools on 1st June; the school opening festival will be virtual and classes ((digital), said Education Minister V Sivankutty on Thursday.

The school reopening festivals will be conducted in two modes. The virtual reopening will be inaugurated by Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan online  9.30 am on June 1 and live streamed on KITE Victers Channel.

The school-level inauguration will be held at Cotton Hill Higher Secondary school at 11 am same day.  The event is expected to witness huge participation from students and parents amid strict covid protocols.

Apart from streaming learning material, the KITE Victers will also arrange for direct interaction between teachers and  students.  Also bridge classes will be held linking this year’s syllabuses to those covered during last academic year. Revision classes too would be a feature.

The SSLC exam paper evaluations are scheduled between Jun 7 to 25. Higher Secondary VHSC evaluations will commence from 1 June to the 19th. HSC practicals begin from 21 June lasting  up to 7 July. The decision   on plus two exams will be taken by the Chief Minister. Meanwhile classes for the new plus two batches will meanwhile commence on 2nd of June.
